Coraline | Corpse Bride - Hello everyone! Welcome again to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! Our MPM contest winner, Alisa Hamilton has joined myself, Mark, Philip, and Dehart in a specially requested episode for her prize! She has asked us to roast a couple of Stop-Motion animation films from the past decade. We go through Henry Selick's Coraline as well as Tim Burton's Corpse Bride. Honey, I Shrunk The Kids! | Innerspace - Hello everyone! Welcome to episode 111 of Motion Picture Meltdown! This week we honor our second place winner in the first MPM quiz out there, Clay Nevels! Clay wanted us to roast through a couple of 80's science fiction movies and we did just that! We go through the ever elusive scyfy thriller/comedy, Innerspace as well as a more popular Disney hit, Honey, I Shrunk The Kids! Insidious | Insidious: Chapter 2 - Hello everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! The whole crew is back together as we get back to our roots a little bit and explore the horror genre with a couple of newer horror movies. We all discuss the footprint that James Wan has left in the horror scene and focus on his two possession/ghost movies Insidious and Insidious: Chapter 2. In this episode, you'll hear us talk about the transition of Darth Maul from Star Wars to horror, the stupidity of adding any aspects of time travel into a horror movie, and the importance of dissonance in horror music.
