MPM: Ep. 145 - Samhain's Vengeance Tokens.

Trick R Treat | Trick Or Treat - Happy Halloween from Motion Picture Meltdown and welcome to our special edition Halloween episode! We invited our old co-host Mark Hinton back to go over a couple Halloween themed movies! In celebration of All Hallow's Eve, we roast through the 1986 terrible horror film (sort-of)starring Gene Simmons and Ozzy Osbourne known as Trick Or Treat as well as one Halloween movie that broke into ranks of one of our favorites with the horror anthology, Trick 'r Treat. In this episode, we talk about our favorite and least favorite Halloween candies, we bumble over the the pronunciation of Samhain, and Phil rants about the moving of holidays and birthdays. Enjoy!

Anyway...this week's episode is Phil, Dehart and myself roasting through Stephen King's The Mangler as well as the heaping pile of poo known as The Shaft(Or...Down?). In this episode, you will hear us discuss the reasons these movies get made, we talk about how effective giving exorcisms with a sledgehammer would be, and we talk about just how dangerous factory machinery really is. MPM: Ep. 141 - Never Ask For Ketchup.

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes | The Day of the Triffids - Happy October everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! This month we're going with the theme of murderous monsters that would NEVER be murderous monsters. To kick off October, Dehart, Phil and myself roast through a couple of killer plant movies. We go through the 1978 cult classic Attack of the Killer Tomatoes as well as the science fiction classic based on a book, The Day of the Triffids. In this episode you'll hear Phil discuss the fact that you don't need to add killer plants to being blind for scary factor, we discuss what we think is the most dangerous plant, and once again complain about movie covers that have nothing to do with the movie. Enjoy!
