MPM: Ep. 324 - The Curse Of Kazoozu

Tales From The Crypt | The Vault Of Horror - Hey everyone! Finally, the Halloween shenanigans can begin for Motion Picture Meltdown! Sorry for the delay over the last few weeks, as we've dealt with a hurricane, power loss, vacations and more. However, here we are, doing Horror Anthologies for all of October (these will run into November, don't worry!) We kick off this month with a couple of picks from Dehart. He chose Tales From The Crypt and its "sequel", The Vault Of Horror. In this episode, you'll hear us rehash the first time we heard classic stories, we bring up The Simpsons every five minutes, and we talk about Pazuzu's annoying cousin, Kazoozu. Enjoy!

Halloween: The Curse Of Michael Myers | The Killing Box - We're Back! After a few very hectic weeks, Motion Picture Meltdown is back on schedule, and we're finishing up the last two request episodes from December before we get back to our regularly picked podcasts. This week we honor Joel Mengel by going through Halloween: The Curse Of Michael Myers, but specifically the Producer's cut. We're also going through Spring's pick, The Killing Box/Grey Knight/Ghost Brigade/Lost Brigade. In this episode, we wonder why the hell a movie has four titles, we talk about what we'd hate the most about being Santa, and discuss how done we are with the Michael Myers bullshit. Enjoy!

MPM: S04/E13 - The Devil's Eyes

John Carpenter's Halloween | Halloween - Happy Halloween to everyone from Motion Picture Meltdown! To go along with your trick or treating, Mark, Philip, and myself have a great special Halloween episode in store for you! We've gone back to 1978 to depict one of the most inspiring and staple horror flicks of all time, Jon Carpenter's Halloween, as well as go into great comparison and description between it and Rob Zombie's Halloween from 2007. In this episode, we talk about the scare factor of the unknown versus the known background of a serial killer, we compare motive to no motive, and not only do some harping on Rob Zombie's forced vulgarity, but also some natural harping on Cheats. Enjoy!
