Ex-MPM Host Mark "The Shark" Hinton threw us a bit of a bone, by having us review a 1980's horror cult classic, Cellar Dweller and Ben from the Culturally Ill Podcast originally suggested we review the first three Twilight movies, but we boycotted that and settled for doing the first one. In this episode, we talk about the Holiday powers we wish we had, I get insanely pissed at Twilight for using the term "vampires", and we all wish Jefferey Combs was in a little more of everything. Thanks for all the AWFUL picks, by the way! This week on Motion Picture Meltdown, Dehart gives us a couple of John Waters flicks to gobble up. We were skeptical going into these, especially after Pink Flamingos. In this episodes, we roast through Serial Mom and Cecil B. Demented. You'll hear us talk about who we'd kidnap and bring on the podcast, we talk about how Serial Mom's judicial situation probably isn't too far off from the truth, and there might be a little more to John Waters than shock value. Even worse, he picks a couple of movies based on popular fighting games, but not too popular like Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter, he picks Tekken and DOA: Dead Or Alive. Welcome to another great episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! We're finally finished with October and we thought we were getting away from the shittiest of movies. Boy were we wrong! Phil purposely picked a couple turds from the late 2000's SYFY Maneater Series to ruin our weekend. First, we roast through possibly one of the worst movies ever in Grizzly Rage, and then dive into (see what I did there?) the far superior (we may have differing opinions on that), Eye Of The Beast. We've been planning to podcast these movies from the very beginning of MPM, but now we're all truly glad it's over with. In this episode, you'll hear us discuss the probability of embezzlement for these movies, we decide who wins, bear vs. squid, and we see some of the worst super-imposed graphics ever. Enjoy!

I hadn't seen either of these, and so I thought they'd be good picks. This week, we go through one of three main werewolf movies from 1981, Wolfen, as well as the 80's movie based on Stephen King's Cycle of the Werewolf, Silver Bullet. In this episode, we all decide on our favorite movie werewolves, we think we found the first movie with "creature vision", and we all discuss weremarsupials. Enjoy!

He picks Van Helsing from 2004, which sucks...no pun intended, and one of the most 90's stink movies we've reviewed, Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Rollerball (2002) | Futuresport - Hey everyone! We're back after a week of absence (We got shit to do too, damnit!). This week, I chose to jump back into the "extreme" era of the late 90's and early 2000's and picked a couple of movies with made up extreme sports. This week we roast through the made-for-TV movie FutureSport as well as the 2002 remake of the cult classic Rollerball. In this episode, you'll hear Dehart, Cheats, Phil and myself create our extreme sport, you'll hear us really start to question the decision making of Rollerball's director, and we are truly astonished to see a movie film such a long scene with a night vision filter. Phil has selected a couple of Christmas movies for us this week in celebration of the terrible made-up holiday in the retail world. But let's be honest, we never get to do actual Christmas movies, because we do listener requests in December! This week, we somehow found another Hulk Hogan movie that we haven't podcasted, so we roast through Santa With Muscles, as well as the Michael Dougherty's follow up film to Trick R Treat, Krampus. In this episode, we all create our own Christmas themed horror icon, we talk about about how Hulk Hogan gets people addicted to his protein powder, and although we all liked Krampus, we think it lacked a little bite. In this episode, we wonder why junkyards are the new place to bang it out, we talk about our malt liquor experiences, and put ourselves in a drinking contest with large, burly men. Enjoy!

Galaxy Quest | The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy - Hey everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! As sad day hit us recently as the amazing and talented actor, Alan Rickman unfortunately lost the battle to cancer. This week Phil, Dehart, Cheats and myself decided to honor the man by going through a couple of his lesser known Science Fiction movies. In this episode, we roast through Galaxy Quest as well as the insanely underrated adaptation to the book by Douglas Adams, The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy. In this episode, you will hear us talk about what planet we would most like to visit or live on, we talk about how Galaxy Quest may indeed be the best Star Trek movie ever made, and we talk about how we all imagine Alan Rickman being uncomfortably shoved into the Marvin suit. MPM: Ep. 209 - The Ecks Wife

Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever | Cowboys & Aliens - Welcome everyone to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! This week Dehart has chosen a couple of "versus" movies for us to roast through. The first of which is widely considered one of the worst big-budget films of all time, and number one on Rotten Tomatoes "terrible" list, Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever. The second movie was a pleasant surprise and somewhat underrated summer blockbuster from 2011, Cowboys & Aliens. In this episode, you'll hear our terrible attempts at how to demolish our arch enemies, you'll hear Dehart give the correct description of a mercy knife, and once again, about a thousand references to Kurt Russell and Air Force One. Armageddon | Deep Impact - Hello everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! This week Phil, Dehart, Cheats and myself go through a couple of Earth-ending asteroid movies that both come from the year 1998. In this episode, we roast through the huge Michael Bay hit, Armageddon as well as the FAR less good "Christian-themed" Deep Impact. In this episode, you'll hear all of our made up space sicknesses,  we talk about the fact that Armageddon is mostly one giant Aerosmith-accompanied montage, and we all talk about how Deep Impact just hammers us all over the head with religion. Total Recall (2012) | Dredd - Hello everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! This week, Cheats, Phil, Dehart and myself go through a couple of "Cyberpunk" movies from 2012. We roast through a remake we've all been dreading to review with the 2012 version of Total Recall as well as talk about one of the more pleasant lower-profile comic books movies that we all (well, most of us) have seen with the updated version of Dredd. In this episode, you will hear us decide what type of Rekall we'd go to...if there weren't any good ones available, you'll hear us all gang up on Cheats for his opinions, and you'll hear me question the decision to put Bill Weasley in everything.
