MPM: Ep. 213 - The XXX-Men

Society | Neon Maniacs - Hey everyone! Welcome again to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! Dehart chose the movies this week as we dive back into the 1980's and roast through a couple of practical effects heavy goo-fest movies. In this episode we roast through Society and Neon Maniacs. You'll hear us all pick our mash-up of two moves/characters, Cheats shows his displeasure with all things related to goo, and we all decide that Neon Maniacs is lacking a pretty important thing....neon. Enjoy!

MPM: Ep. 212 - Hamburgle Man

Hollow Man | Stir of Echoes - Hi everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! This week Phil chooses the flicks as we take a trek down Kevin Bacon way and attempt to make retribution for the long-lost Kevin Bacon podcast a couple of years ago. In this episode, Phil, Cheats, Dehart and myself go through a couple of late 90's/early 2000's Bacon flicks, starting with Hollow Man and ending with Stir of Echoes. This week you'll hear us decide whether we'd rather be invisible or be able to talk to raped ghosts, we talk about the necessity of nose-holes in masks, and just really, really hate that cover of Paint it Black. Enjoy!

MPM: Ep. 211 - The Indestructible Bill Murray

The Grand Budapest Hotel | The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou - Hey everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! This week Phil, Dehart, Cheats and myself go through a couple of Wes Anderson flicks (per Cheats' birthday request) and actually enjoy ourselves for once when talking about movies for this show. (Just kidding). This week we go over The Grand Budapest Hotel as well as The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. In this episode, we talk about which legitimate business we would each start, Phil explodes his screen with humongous Billy Murray boner, and Cheats gets a little emotional when it comes to Wes Anderson movies. Enjoy!

MPM: Ep. 210 - So Long, And Thanks For Alan Rickman

Galaxy Quest | The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy - Hey everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! As sad day hit us recently as the amazing and talented actor, Alan Rickman unfortunately lost the battle to cancer. This week Phil, Dehart, Cheats and myself decided to honor the man by going through a couple of his lesser known Science Fiction movies. In this episode, we roast through Galaxy Quest as well as the insanely underrated adaptation to the book by Douglas Adams, The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy. In this episode, you will hear us talk about what planet we would most like to visit or live on, we talk about how Galaxy Quest may indeed be the best Star Trek movie ever made, and we talk about how we all imagine Alan Rickman being uncomfortably shoved into the Marvin suit. Enjoy!
