We're branching out into our MPM roots and going through a couple of summer camp movies NOT called Friday the 13th. This week we dive into a couple of underrated 80's slasher flicks in Sleepaway Camp and possibly one of the best slashers of all time, The Burning. In this episode, you'll hear us debate over the best weapon found in a garden shed, you'll hear Philip rage about his tiredness of seeing buttholes in movies, and you'll hear me make the bold claim that The Burning is better than any of the Jason movies. We continue to boost our summer fun by roasting through a couple of tubular surfing movies, dudes! This week we officially induct Cheats McGee as our fourth permanent co-host (until we kick him out), and roast through the cult classic Surf Nazis Must Die as well as a 90's action flick that for some reason seems to be at the top of everyone's action list, Point Break. In this episode, you'll hear us all debate on why surfers are stereotyped as morons, you'll hear Philip rage hardcore about how much he hates Point Break, and you'll hear Dehart talk about how Patrick Swayze "Mariokarts" someone in Point Break. Blood Beach | Pinata Survival Island - Hey everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! We love these summer themed movies that we may just continue doing them all summer! This week we do a couple of summer vacation themed movies and are once again joined by Cheats McGee! Maybe we should make him a full-time host! *hint hint* This week we roast through a 1980's cult classic called Blood Beach as well as one of the IMDB bottom 100 movies, Pinata Survival Island. In this episode, you'll hear us argue about the levels of shittiness in each movie, you'll hear Phil rant about the decorating in many monster movies, and we can't decide if the beach monster is a menace to society, or just a filter for dumb and terrible people. This week Ed joins us once again and Phil, Dehart and myself go through the terrible sequel to our previously roasted Sand Sharks called Avalanche Sharks as well as one of the more fun SYFY channel terrible shark movies known as Ghost Shark. In this episode you'll hear us all talk about what it takes to make a good shark movie, you'll hear the title when you graduate from mayor syndrome, and how the absence of boobs in a bad science fiction creature feature is looked down upon. We go through the trailer/film by the creators of Manborg called LaserGhosts II: Return to Laser Cove, we get down on our knees and pray/prey with Fists of Jesus and we turn up our awesome knobs to eleven as we go through one of the biggest short films of all time, Kung Fury. In this episode, you will hear us all describe our own thoughts on making a short film, you'll learn about Cheats' unhealthy love for men in dusters, and Phil rages about seeing a movie "in time".
