MPM: S02/E17 - Up For Graboids!

Tremors | Tremors II: Aftershocks - Hey everyone! Thanks for checking out another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! Only three episodes left of the season, so make sure you're heading over to iTunes and subscribing! This week Mark, myself, and former MPM co-host Phil Collins go over Tremors and Tremors II: Aftershocks. We discuss the stupidity of blabbing about science in creature movies that make no sense, the outline of Michael Gross' career, the downfalls of being named Melvin, and the nonsensical evolution of Graboids. Enjoy the show!

MPM: S02/E16 - Gobble, Gobble, Motherf*cker!

Thankskilling - Hello to all you fantastic MPM fans out there, and Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Motion Picture Meltdown and United Cypher. This week Mark and I took on the challenge of watching one of the only (for good reason) Thanksgiving horror movies out there in Thankskilling. In this episode, we talk about the fact that you cannot argue logic in a movie that's entire plot makes no sense, we discuss the fact that after all these horror movies, there should be no more college students left to kill, and also the lack of holiday horror for our backseat holidays. We hope you have a great Turkey Day, and enjoy this fowl episode. :)

MPM: S02/E15 - The Dennis Rodcast

Double Team | Simon Sez - Good evening Sport's Fans, and thank you for tuning into our special Dennis Rodman episode of Motion Picture Meltdown. This week Mark and I try and unravel the mystery of why five-time NBA champion Dennis Rodman needs to act. The movies we reviewed were less than stellar, but at least gave us some comedic value and were somewhat entertaining. This week we went over Double Team, where Rodman sidekicks for Jean-Claude Van Damme in this martial arts mockery. We also had to sit through Simon Sez, a movie where Rodman gets the leading role, but is quickly spoiled by Dane Cook. In this episode, we go over my boner for JCVD, the complete horribleness of basketball puns, and the fact that when you become a millionaire, the only thing to do is fuck up other people's professions. Enjoy!

MPM: S02/E14 - CHUD-A-Lug, CHUD-A-Lug!

It's Alive | C.H.U.D. - Hello once again, to all (5) of our faithful listeners out there. This week Mark and myself go over a couple of old-school horror movies in It's Alive, and C.H.U.D. Both of these movies have been claimed as being underground(pun intended) fan favorites of the horror genre. We don't know what the big deal is, because these two movies are should be called C.R.A.P. Aside from going through these two garbagefests, Mark and I discuss the origin of Creature Vision, 1970's scare factor, and our rules and regulations of being homeless shelter owners.  Enjoy!

MPM: S02/E13 - There Is No Podcast, Only ZUUL!

Ghostbusters | Ghostbusters II - Happy Halloween (or maybe a little later), everyone! Mark and myself had originally planned to do the original and Rob Zombie remake of the Halloween movies, but decided to take a break from Horror/Shittiness and do a pleasant podcast over two of our favorite movies, Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II. We keep our normal amounts of smack talk to a minimum and spend most of the time praising these two masterpieces. We go into the details of how projection and green screening is preferable to CGI, and how comedians today can't hold a candle to the masters of the stage in these movies...although, there are a few parts we point out to be not only ridiculous, but hilarious as well. We hope you had a great Halloween, and enjoy!

MPM: S02/E12 - Marvel Superzeroes

Ghost Rider | X-Men Origins: Wolverine - Hello faithful citizens, and welcome to our fantastic superzero edition of Motion Picture Meltdown! With Mark and I both being gigantic nerds and comic fans, our childhood was riddled with dreams and amazing expectations of seeing our favorite comics come to life in the cinema. Boy were we wrong. In this episode, Mark, a very emotional Cheats McGee, and Whitney Holbourn talk about Ghost Rider, and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. These two movies take some of our favorite Marvel Comics characters, and throw them into the perennial diarrhea bowl that is Fox studios, and hang them out to dry with some even more terrible CGI. Along with the movies, we also discuss Whitney's open hatred for Nicholas Cage, the humility of Sci-Fy CGI, and Cheats' blatant outrages toward storyline differences. Enjoy!

MPM: S02/E11 - In A While, Crocodile.

Rogue | Black Water - Crikey! Welcome once again to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown. This week features Mark, myself, and Cheats McGee going over a couple of creature features that actually aren't too bad! What? I know...movies that aren't terrible! But yes, it is true, we here at MPM do sometimes like to indulge in a film that won't make us want to carve out our throats after the fact. We review the movies Rogue and  Black Water in this episode, and luckily there are no midgets or Hulk Hogans to spoil our fun. These two movies are about Crocs so menacing that even Croc Dundee would defecate all over himself. We discuss the movies, the arts of shitting our pants in fear, the love of animatronics compared to CGI, and what happens when you screw over Vin Diesel. Enjoy!

MPM: S02/E10 - The (Nil)Bog of Eternal Stench.

Troll | Troll 2 - Hello to all our mystical and enchanted fans out there, and thanks again for checking out another grueling episode of Motion Picture Meltdown. In this show, Mark (The Shark) and I discuss Troll and Troll 2 with our buddies XR900 and Dehart from United Cypher. You'll hear lots of Jew jokes, information about goblins, rather than trolls, Evan's hate for Fox news, and the fact that Dehart can do prepubescent boys extremely well. Trust me, our podcast is so good it will make you completely forget that Troll 2 only took three weeks for the entire filming process to take place! Enjoy!

MPM: S02/E09 - What's Eating Gizmo Grape?

Gremlins | Gremlins 2: The New Batch - Hello all my alcoholic listeners, welcome again to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown. This week, XR900 joins Mark and Myself to go through two of our favorite movies growing up. Gremlins and Gremlins 2: The New Batch. Not only do we rip these two awesome movies to shreds, but we also do our best skeletor imitations, talk about koosh balls, listen to the local police bust the meth heads down the road, and discuss the ridiculous amounts advertisements and references in the movies. We hope you enjoy, and don't forget to tell all your friends! Also, make sure you check out the rest of United Cypher, and go down to Charlestown Road and get some comics from out buddy George at Empire Comics!

MPM: S02/E08 -Beware! Birds and Rats!

Rodentz | Kaw  - Hello everyone! Thanks for checking out the newest episode of MPM! This time Mark and myself go over two movies about animals that no one should ever be afraid of. Crows(Ravens) and Rats! We rip apart two of the worst movies we've seen in a while, referring to Rodentz and Kaw. Even though there is no special guest this week, Mark and I have plenty to talk about, including fake beards, mysteries green goo, terrorist birds, Halloween decoration rats, and the being able to tell whether something is the same, if it clearly looks different. Enjoy!

MPM: S02/E07 - Hulkamaniacs In Paradise

Thunder In Paradise 2 | Thunder In Paradise 3 - Hello everyone! Thanks for joining us in this tropical episode on the worst vacation imaginable...one that involves Hulk Hogan acting...AGAIN! Mark and I cover two of the worst sequels ever made in Thunder in Paradise 2 and 3. Cheats the Streets McGee and our friend Alisa are our special guests and gave us a little company in sitting through these two travesties. This episode goes over the similarities between Thunder and Kit, whether or not two grown men cuddling with an 8 year old is wrong, and how many props you can possibly purchase at the Dollar Tree. Enjoy!

MPM: S02/E06 - Something Smells Fishy

Frankenfish | Piranha 2: The Spawning - Hello everyone! In this week's episode, Mark and I are Gone Fishin' with two of the crappiest movies of all time, James Cameron's Piranha 2: The Spawning, and Frankenfish. In this episode we depict the pros and cons to genetically creating things just for the hell of it, and harp on an actor that tries to be Denzel Washington just a little too much. No special guest this week, but that's only because we couldn't find someone else to stomach these movies with us. Don't worry about getting sea sick, because if you watch these movies, you'll puke anyway! Enjoy!

MPM: S02/E05 - They Came From Outer Space!(and should go back immediately!)

Spaced Invaders | Batteries Not Included - Greetings, Earthlings! We have a very galactic podcast for you this week. MPM goes through space talking about two of our favorite childhood movies, and how different they are to us now. The movies of the week are Spaced Invaders and Batteries Not Included. With no special guest this week, Mark and I talk about everything we can think of to do with this movies, including (but not limited to) the fact that all adults seem to be set that aliens aren't real, robotic alien sex, and why midgets should just be quiet. Enjoy!

MPM: S02/E04 - (A Not-So) Gangsta's Paradise

Pterodactyl | Red Water - Hello everyone! Thank you for checking out the newest edition of Motion Picture Meltdown! This week, my faithful co-host and I (along with Travis Hardin, of course) decide to depict through possibly two of the greatest movies of our time. Naturally, these movies are also acted in by possibly the best actor of all time, Coolio! We go through the absolute terribleness of Pterodactyl, a movie about dinosaurs that clearly no one gives a damn about, along with the awesomeness that is Kristy Swanson's boobies in Red Water! Enjoy!

MPM: S02/E03 - Stay dead, please stay dead!

Undead | Hard Rock Zombies - Hello everyone! Thanks for checking out United Cypher and Motion Picture Meltdown. This week's episode focuses on a couple of really awesome (terrible) zombie movies that we just couldn't keep to ourselves! This episode also marks the full-time return of MPM, along with the introduction of our new co-host, Mark Hinton. Cheats McGee is a special guest with us as we pick through the amazing horror tales known as Undead and Hard Rock Zombies. Unfortunately, those zombies don't rock as hard as we expected. But enough chatter! Enjoy the episode, tell us what you think, and make sure to tell your friends to stop by and give us a listen!

MPM: S02/E02 - Sharks With A Vengeance.

Jaws 3-D | Jaws: The Revenge - Hello geeks and ghouls, let me take this time to thank you for checking out this podcast of Motion Picture Meltdown. Although we now have a new co-host (Mark Hinton), I thought it was important to get the last episode we did with Phil (as well as Cheats and Joel) up for the listeners. This is one of my favorite episodes, so check it out, and tell us what you think. We cover Jaws 3-D, and Jaws: The Revenge. Two spectacular movies, as I'm sure you've guessed.  New episodes will be coming soon!
