MPM: Ep. 154 - The Voluntary Houdini

Drive | Clifford - Hey everyone! Happy New Year! To finish out our TRL month, we roast through a couple of movies suggested to us by our friend Ben. Ben was the guest host on our Rocketeer/Darkman podcast, and asked us to go through the 1994 movie Clifford, as well as the well-received movie from 2011, Drive. Next week, we will be kicking off the new year with regular episodes, by starting with a John Waters episode. In this episode, Phil, Dehart and myself discuss our "New Year's Resolutions", we talk about the many glares of Ryan Gosling, and wonder what the world would be like if Clifford actually existed. This week Phil couldn't join Dehart and myself but we decided to podcast anyway, roasting through an awful 80's motocross movie called Winner Takes All, requested by Brad, one of the hosts of Return of the Living Podcast. Our second movie was requested by Laura, one of our long time listeners, that roped me into going and seeing the mediocre Christmas slasher film, P2. In this episode, Dehart and I re-imagine classic Christmas movies in our own way, we decipher the man love of two small town motorbikers, and talk about the typical slasher protagonist stupidity.
