Grabbers | Attack The Block - Hey everyone! Welcome to the last episode of the Monster Month Of May from Motion Picture Meltdown! Trust me, you're going to need these movies when you find out what we have in store for June. This week, I make the picks and decide to do a couple of monster-alien movies. We go through a couple of foreign flicks in Grabbers as well as John Boyega's pre-Star Wars fame, Attack The Block. In this episode, you'll hear us talk about our least-favorite movie aliens, we research what English handcuffs look like, and argue about the importance of glow-in-the-dark teeth. Enjoy!

MPM: Ep. 230 - Space Sausage Party

Invasion of the Body Snatchers | Cocoon - Hey everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! I have picked a couple of alien-centered science fiction films this week and although we thought they'd both be good...boy were we wrong. In this episode, we roast through the 1978 remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers as well as the 1985 Academy Award winning Ron Howard film, Cocoon. This week, you'll hear us talk about whether we'd venture to space to see the unimaginable, Phil talks about what a "perfect" movie Cocoon is, and we all agree that Ron Howard is the third world country version of Steven Spielberg. Enjoy!

MPM: Ep. 224 - Praliens & Dick

Alien vs. Predator | Alien vs. Predator: Requiem - Hey everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! We continue the Monster Month of May with a couple of picks from Dehart! While not traditionally monsters, these movies can definitely be defended under the monster genre. This week, Dehart chooses Alien vs. Predator and Alien vs. Predator: Requiem. In this episode, you'll hear Phil and myself get uber pissed about non-Arnold people saying Arnold quotes, you'll hear us argue over what a competent director is, and Phil creates a new ice cream flavor. Enjoy!

MPM: Ep. 222 - Blob, Bringer of Justice!

The Blob (1988) | The Stuff - Hey everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! This week I pick the movies specifically to gross out Cheats, and we roast through a couple of awesome goo-filled horror classics from the 1980's, chock full of practical effects. In this episode we go through The Stuff and the 1988 remake of The Blob. In this episode, you'll hear us come up with our own generic brands, Phil gets a little bother by how disturbing 80's sexual assault logic is, and we all wish our names were as cool as Chocolate Chip Charlie. Enjoy!

MPM: Ep. 218 - Yo, (Insemi)Noid!

Inseminoid | Xtro - Hey everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! I picked the movies this week, as we jump back into the bread and butter (and pickled eggs?) of our podcast by roasting a couple of 1980's alien movies. In this episode, we get our fill of goop while we cover Inseminoid as well as an equally gooey and somehow even more messed up, Xtro. This week you'll hear us talk about our preferred method of planetary infiltration travel, Cheats will complain about goo and terrible movies (again), and Dehart wants to know why there isn't more inseminating. Enjoy!

MPM: Ep. 165 - Get Your Tubes Tied With Tubular Corporation

Lady Termiantor | Shocking Dark: Terminator 2 - Hey everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! This week, Phil, Dehart and myself roast through two of the biggest rip-offs we've ever seen. While pulling scenes directly out of Terminator and Aliens, they may be some of the earliest "Mockbuster" movies we can think of. We go through Lady Terminator as well as Shocking Dark: Terminator 2. In this episode, you will hear us talk about which movies we would make mockbusters of, I get passionate about mockbuster directors spitting in the face of great film art, and we also discuss the elusiveness of the Moray Vageel. Enjoy!

MPM: S04/E02 - Who ya gonna call? Chestbusters!!

Alien | Aliens - Hello everyone! Welcome to this week's episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! In this episode, Mark, Philip, and myself go over a couple of the best sci-fy movies to ever hit the screen as we go through Ridley Scott's Alien and James Cameron's Aliens. With there not being too much to harp on in these movies, we spend a lot of time talking about the fact that even now, these movies hold up to even the best of the blockbuster films, a couple of interesting tidbits about the directing of Alien, and oh...the size of Sigourney Weaver's 1979 bush. Enjoy!

MPM: S02/E05 - They Came From Outer Space!(and should go back immediately!)

Spaced Invaders | Batteries Not Included - Greetings, Earthlings! We have a very galactic podcast for you this week. MPM goes through space talking about two of our favorite childhood movies, and how different they are to us now. The movies of the week are Spaced Invaders and Batteries Not Included. With no special guest this week, Mark and I talk about everything we can think of to do with this movies, including (but not limited to) the fact that all adults seem to be set that aliens aren't real, robotic alien sex, and why midgets should just be quiet. Enjoy!
